The Fairway Fund

A dedicated fund for Maine tees, baskets, signage, and new course starts

The Fairway Fund is a ring-fenced pot of money that only goes to visible course upgrades across Maine — not overhead, not admin, just better places to play.

Every membership, Pro Shop purchase, and partner campaign feeds a single fund for real work on real Maine courses.
Infrastructure first: tees, baskets, signage, safety reroutes.
Statewide impact: in-town parks, rural tracks, school and community courses.
Fully transparent: a public tracker with projects, budgets, and proof.

When you join or buy gear through MUDG, a portion of every dollar goes here.

  • Your support becomes better tees, baskets, and signage you can throw tomorrow.
  • Members will help vote on project priorities and see progress in a public tracker.
  • You’ll always know what your support funded — down to the course and hole.

The Fund exists to make it easier for course stewards and towns to move projects forward.

  • Help with tee pad upgrades , new baskets, and improved wayfinding.
  • Support for safety reroutes and “problem holes” that need a budget.
  • Seed money for new community and school courses around Maine.

Brands plug into a clear story : every qualified sale helps upgrade Maine disc golf.

  • Campaigns and Pro Shop sales that send a fixed percentage to the Fund.
  • Co-branded projects with before/after storytelling and local players.
  • Long-term, Maine-first partnership with measurable impact on courses.
How it flows From you → courses

Hover or tap each step to see how support moves from players and brands into visible course upgrades across Maine.

Impact quick look (example scenarios)
4 tees fully upgraded
2 new baskets in the ground
6 new or updated signs

These are rough scenarios based on typical costs — we’ll share real project counts as the Fund grows.

We’ll publish a live page so anyone can see where money came from, which projects it’s funding, and what’s already complete — tees poured, baskets in, signs installed.

Where the money comes from

Memberships, MUDG Pro Shop sales, local events, and brand campaigns all push a fixed percentage into the Fund.

  • Each funding source has a clear, published percentage going to the Fund.
  • We’ll break down contributions by players, events, and brands .
  • No “mystery fees” — you’ll always see how your support shows up.

What we fund first

The Fund focuses on high-impact, visible upgrades players feel immediately.

  • New or upgraded tee pads (concrete, rubber, or improved surfaces).
  • Basket upgrades and extra baskets for new loops and layouts.
  • Better signage and wayfinding , especially at multi-loop courses.

How we stay accountable

A public tracker, member input, and simple updates so you see the Fund in action.

We’ll publish:

  • Project lists with locations, timelines, and budgets.
  • Before / after photos and short write-ups once work is complete.
  • Regular recaps showing how much was raised and where it went .

We’re building a roster of authorized brands so Maine players can access top gear. Every qualified purchase sends a portion straight to The Fairway Fund.
